What Makes Hidden Gem Different
Hidden Gem is a Boutique Residence, a cross between a boutique hotel and a traditional bed and breakfast. Intimate in scale and personal in approach, it offers the feeling of being a welcomed guest in a private residence rather than simply occupying a hotel room. Our surroundings are elegant and thoughtfully designed, but it is the personalized attention and genuine Bajan hospitality that make the experience special.
Our Setting
True to its name, Hidden Gem is tucked away in the heart of a residential neighborhood where the locals really are local but quite friendly. It's a peaceful place where you can enjoy privacy, venture out on foot to explore the neighborhood, and still be just around the corner from the island's more active spots.
For travelers who prefer to be in the center of it all, Hidden Gem may not be the right fit.
What you can be sure of in our off-the-beaten-path residence is privacy in a quiet location — the sort of quiet which might include waves crashing, birds singing, and the occasional cockadoodle. For some guests, that is part of the charm. For others, it may not be the experience you are looking for.
Hidden Gem May Not Be the Best Fit If You:
Want to stay in the centre of a tourist district. We do have an onsite restaurant @ The Patio Bar & Bites, plus a few local restaurants within walking distance, including Blu and Surfers Bay, and a “shop” where you can pick up basic essential groceries.
Hidden Gem is in a quiet residential enclave in Inch Marlow and may not suit guests wanting everything within walking distance.
Why Our Location is Special
Inch Marlow offers a quieter, more residential side of Barbados’ South Coast — away from the crowds, yet just a short drive from beaches, restaurants and nightlife.
What You Can Expect
A private, home-like setting on a residential street, with the comfort and quiet of staying somewhere personal rather than a hotel. A rental car or reliable transportation is recommended to make the most of everything nearby.
Things to Keep in Mind
Hidden Gem is not within walking distance of restaurants or the beach. Guests who prefer to step outside their door and be in the middle of the action may be better suited to a more central location.
